She holds a Teaching degree from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (1961), a master’s degree in Education from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (1972) and a doctoral degree in Education from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1991). She is currently an Emeritus Professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. She has experience in the area of Education, with an emphasis on Education and Health, acting mainly in the following areas: environmental education, school education, school health and curriculum.
