She has an undergraduate degree in History from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (1992) A Master’s degree in Education from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (2008) and a PhD in Education from the University of São Paulo (2012). She is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. She integrates the Graduate Program in Education and the Graduate Program in History Teaching (ProfHistória). She coordinates the Teacher training project of the Institutional Program for Teacher Initiation (PIBID). She is the coordinator of the research group Education, history and communication. She is the coordinator of the research group Education, history and communication and was an Early Career (2019) researcher, developing the project entitled School notebooks: the presence, permanence and ruptures in history teaching in the early years of elementary school in the city of Rio de Janeiro (1975-2019). She has experience in the area of ​​Education with emphasis on the fundations of Education. She works mainly with the following themes: history of Education, radio education, secondary education, intellectuals, History teaching and school material culture.
