She is a child and adolescent psychologist (CRP-05/43526). She holds a Teacher’s degree from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF), a Doctorate in Psychology from the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) and a Master’s degree in Psychology from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF). She is currently a professor in the Teacher Education course and in the Graduate Program in Education (PPGE) at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). At present, she teaches the Educational Psychology and Inclusion and Diversity courses. She is the vice-leader of the Human Development and Education Research Group – Grudhe (PUC-Rio). Her research interests are in School and Educational Psychology, working mainly with the following themes: executive functions, metacognition, reading and writing, learning strategies, academic emotions and learning difficulties.
